Raquel Ulibarri

Finance & Administration Coordinator

Raquel first came to us in 2004. Her early life was defined by physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. Sadly, her early adult life mirrored this turmoil as she struggled in a severely distressed marital environment, a crisis that was pushed her toward addiction, incarcertion, homelessness, and hopelessness. In dire need of a new beginning, she cried out to God and began her journey of professional and personal transformation through His saving grace. She exemplifies resilience and dedication and is the perfect example of “Turning the Corner”. She has since achieved significant academic and professional milestones, including earning her bachelors degree in business administration from University of Phoenix and two business-related certifications from NM State University. In the past 20+ years her calling to ministry and service has led her to extensive leadership roles such as serving on our board of directors, recieved her lay ministers certificate, serving as a Nazarene missions international representative, acting as our women’s ministries director and an adult bible study teacher, as well as overseeing a compassionate ministries outreach to our unhoused community for over seven years. Since 2017, Raquel has leveraged her financial acumen and extensive institutional knowledge to serve effectively as the organization's Finance & Administrative Coordinator, while faithfully continuing to contribute to Mission ABQ in various other capacities.
